Booster stays

When you want to reinforce what matters most. Booster stays follow residential treatment at Sanatorium Libella and help maintain the change you have achieved.

“Sometimes a few days are enough for a person to find solid ground beneath their feet again.”

Booster stays follow residential treatment that has been successfully completed. They offer a chance to return to the safe environment where the first change took place and to reinforce the skills the client gained during treatment.

Their purpose is both preventive and supportive – they help navigate difficult periods, prevent relapse, and maintain the continuity of care that naturally follows treatment.

Who are booster stays intended for?

The stay is intended primarily for graduates of treatment at Sanatorium Libella who feel the need to return to the therapeutic setting, regain strength, or reinforce their decision to live without addictive substances and addictive behavioural patterns.

We also offer it to clients who, after a relapse, are looking for a way back to abstinence and to their established treatment – in their case, admission is always individually assessed by the treating team.

How does the stay work?

A booster stay lasts 5 days, usually from Sunday to Friday. During this time, the client returns to the familiar setting of the sanatorium and takes part in a structured therapeutic programme.

  • individual work with a therapist tailored to the client’s current situation,
  • group therapy, sharing and feedback with other clients,
  • medical monitoring and an overview of the current state of health,
  • a safe and discreet environment with the support of the entire therapeutic team.

The aim of the stay is to strengthen motivation, review what has proven risky in everyday life, and prepare for the next step.

Admission requirements

Admission to a booster stay requires meeting the following conditions:

  • successfully completed treatment, or an individually assessed follow-up connection,
  • stabilised mental and physical health,
  • documented abstinence and a negative toxicology test,
  • a recommendation from a specialist or a follow-up programme,
  • attendance at an aftercare group before admission.

Care that continues

A booster stay is part of long-term client care. We will be happy to discuss your situation and arrange a date that suits you.
